What happens at an Annual General Meeting ( AGM ) ? -    

Meet your fellow athletes/coaches/helpers for a drink in a cool venue.      

Before it happens, members get the chance to nominate people to stand for positions on the Clubs management board or add items that they want to discuss, to the meeting agenda    -    This must be done in writing to the Secretary at Club@brightonphoenix.org.uk .        

Members get updated by the Treasurer on the clubs financial state and can ask questions, like 'Why do we pay so little for our annual subs' or anything else you fancy asking.        

The Club Chair gives a report on the clubs progress in the previous year.                    

The Membership secretary reports on how many members we have and answers any questions the members throw.                        

Members elect the clubs Board - Brighton Phoenix is a registered charity, so its important that we follow the rules of the Charity Commission and give all members the chance to represent the membership in meetings.
